General information
12-volt system with voltage controlled generator.
Single wire system in which the chassis and engine block are used as conductors, grounded on the chassis.
Battery
If you must replace your battery, be sure to replace it with a battery of the same cold start capacity and reserve capacity as the original.

Loss of a remote key
If either of the remote keys is lost, the other
should be taken with the car to a Volvo retailer.
As an anti-theft measure, the code of the lost
remote key must be erased from the system.
